On Saturday, March 1st, 2025, four students competed at the University of Monticello—and all four placed!
🥇 Raul Hidalgo – 1st Place, Algebra 2
🥇 Yuki Lin – 1st Place, Calculus
🥈 Hannah Estess – 2nd Place, Calculus
🥉 Natalie Spadoni – 3rd Place, Calculus

Mrs. Bridgforth's AP Statistics class conducted a significance test to see if they could "Taste the Rainbow" using Skittles.
The class found convincing statistical evidence at the 5% alpha level that they could taste the rainbow.
*This meant that they could identify the color of the Skittle just by taste, not by sight.

The White Hall School District will host a Health & Wellness Fair on March 4 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. The event will be held at the White Hall Community Center. Attendees can take advantage of free health screenings, participate in fun games, and enter to win exciting prizes. AFSP sponsored two free safeTALK trainings for students here at WHHS on February 11 by a nationally recognized trainer for suicide prevention, Mr. Christopher Epperson. We are excited to share that we had a total of 57 students who chose to become more suicide-alert by attending safeTALK last week.
