11th grade students will take the ACT during the school day on February 24. The test will begin as soon as possible after the first bell.
The ACT measures skills students have been building in English, math, reading, and science. Recent updates to the ACT include a slightly shorter test, more time per question, and fewer answer choices in math, helping students work at a comfortable pace while still showing what they know.
Students can find helpful information about test day expectations, practice questions, and preparation tips on the Information for Examinees page. Information for Examinees Page
This free, school-day ACT gives students an opportunity to gain experience and earn a college-reportable score in a familiar setting. Questions? Contact Mrs. Powell at powellt@whitehallsd.org

Students with exceptional attendance were recognized.
Students who showed growth on the first literacy and math interim assessments were entered into a drawing for a chance to play PLINKO and win prizes!
Thank you to WHHS’s Behavior Intervention Committee, Mrs. Menard, Mrs. Looney, and Mr. Taylor for their help with the assembly, and to Mr. Donnelly’s classes for building the PLINKO board!

Dr. Jonathon Barranco, the current Director of Choral Activities at Henderson State University, worked with all of Mrs. Roberts' classes and choral program students.
A fun fact about Dr. Barranco is he used to be the WHHS choir teacher!
Thank you for spending time with our students today.
