Several WHHS juniors were selected to be delegates at this year's American Legion Auxiliary Arkansas Girls State at Harding University.
Congratulations to Alexandria Evans on being elected mayor for her city.
WHHS applauds Aly Hobson for being elected ALA Girls Nation Senator. She will represent Arkansas at the ALA Girls Nation in Washington, D.C this July.



WHHS students in grades 9-11: Report cards have been printed and are ready to be picked up.

WHHS surprised assistant principal Skip Carr with a retirement feast of burgers and all the fixings. Mr. Sullivan presented Mr.Carr with a plaque acknowledging his 37 years in education.

This afternoon WHHS celebrated Holly Robinson's retirement after 32 years. Mrs. Robinson has been a shining example of dedication and teaching excellence. Congratulations on your retirement!









This morning, Leslie Mitchell received a huge surprise. WHHS Principal Nathan Sullivan arranged for a graduation ceremony and breakfast for her! Mrs. Mitchell earned her Bachelor's degree, passed the Praxis exam, and received her license to become a certified teacher.
WHHS teachers and staff along with the WHHS Superintendent, Mr. Williams, and the Arkansas Secretary of Education, Jacob Oliva, celebrated her accomplishments in the Media Center.








WHHS held the Graduation Dinner and Awards Ceremony for Faculty and Staff on Friday, May 16th. A special thank you to The Learner Collective for providing the fabulous dinner!
A big thank you to our Party Committee for making everything extra special.

The WHHS Graduation ceremony for the WHHS Class of 2025 was held this morning. Congratulations to the Class of'25!











Due to the increased risk for severe weather this evening, graduation has been postponed until Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
Seniors need to report to the turf room at 9:00.

GRADUATION UPDATE: Due to the potential for strong storms in our area tonight, we will postpone the Graduation Ceremony. The ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 17 at 10 AM. Gates will open at 9AM. Please join us tomorrow morning to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the Class of 2025.
