WHHS hosted the Area 9 Special Olympics Basketball Skills Drill competition yesterday. Participating schools included: Star City, White Hall, Sheridan, Jenkins Adults, James Matthews, and Pine Bluff. Girls basketball try-outs for students going into 10-12th grade will be held March 14th and 15th at 7:30am in the main gym. Students trying out must have a current physical, shoes, and clothes to try out in. If you have any questions please find Coach Powell in the gym.

WHHS offers fifteen Advanced Placement classes, and there are currently 158 students taking these courses. In early May, 361 AP exams will be administered.

This afternoon WHHS awarded $6050 to students who passed their 2022 Advanced Placement tests. These students also received college credit for passing the AP course. Checks will be mailed to those students who graduated last year.
