Build your child's cooperation skills
To succeed in school, students need to be able to work well with others. Take time to teach your elementary schooler about cooperation. Make it clear that you expect your child to take turns and share, and offer praise when you see this behavior. Encourage your child to be honest by demonstrating honesty yourself. And explain that it makes you proud when your child admits mistakes and takes responsibility for them.

Christmas spirit week is in full swing at Moody! 🎄🎅🏼
We had our annual Christmas sing along on Monday, and even enjoyed watching some of our teachers play some fun games. What a great way to get into the Christmas spirit!
Moody kindergarten visited Central Office Friday morning and sang some Christmas carols. They were treated with a candy cane.
The Moody Singers performed their Christmas music today at the State Capitol in Little Rock and at The Blossoms in White Hall .

As you think about holiday gifts, remember there are some gifts that last a lifetime that only you can give your child: The gift of your time: reading together, helping with learning and just enjoying each other. The gift of understanding: that your child will make mistakes, and that you can help your student learn from them. Mrs. Zintel and the Moody Singers performed their Christmas concert Tuesday evening. It was a wonderful performance!

We had a special guest stop by Moody today!! The kids were so excited to see Santa get out of a helicopter and visit with them!!
Congratulations to our November students of the month!
Thank you to everyone who donated to our food drive. Our students brought in over 3,000 items of food. Congratulations to Mrs. Dietrich's class for winning the K-2 contest and Mrs. Haynes' class for winning the 3-5 contest.
Makeup picture day will be tomorrow (Friday, Nov. 17) for those who missed our first picture day or need to have their picture remade.
Just a reminder about before school drop-off: If the front drive is full, please do not block the road; instead, go down by the football field/athletic facility (like back ramp does in the afternoon), so that buses and faculty members can get through. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Mrs. Maynard's art students visited the White Hall Administration office to share their recent artwork. Their work included sketches of the Moody Pond, Moody Elementary, and even Bulldog Stadium. Our students are talented artists! Thank you so much for sharing your art with us!!
