Santa's helpers and cozy mostly-toes!
Elf Day! Mrs. Lea's class enjoyed hot cocoa while watching Elf the movie. Then we made Elf bookmarks, decorated spaghetti with sprinkles and measured the noodles to the nearest inch. Then we made 3 dimension structures with toothpicks, gumdrops, and toothpicks while learning about prisms, pyramids, and cubes. Next we had station time with writing activities. We ended the day with building igloos with fake snow. It was a great day full of learning and fun!!

Ms. Taylor from the high school visited and helped us make Christmas ornaments.
The Great Girls and Guys visited the nursing home today. They sang Christmas carols and visited with some of the residents. Then they enjoyed lunch at Larry's Pizza.

We had a visit from Santa, the Grinch and lots of bikers on motorcycles today. They came and picked up the toys we collected for the toy drive benefiting Arkansas Children's Hospital.
The Great Girls and Great Guys enjoyed lunch today with special guest, Mr. Stephen Witherspoon, a case manager with Pinnacle Point. Mr. Witherspoon shared about his high school sports career and his current work responsibilities. He also led the students in a discussion about the importance of positive self- affirmation.
Kindergarten enjoyed decorating their gingerbread houses and other Christmas stations today. 🎄

Congratulations to Moody 5th grade Spelling Bee Winner-Shelby and
Runner-up-Ada! They will compete at the district spelling be in January.
The Great Girls attended the UAPB Future Golden Lions Kids Club Day on Thursday. The UAPB Golden Lions Women’s Basketball Team played against Arkansas Baptist College. Kadence represented our school in the free throw contest. Some of the students won tshirts and students were given books about famous athletes.
