Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield will be hosting a FREE Mental Health First Aid certification training on January 31 in White Hall and would like to invite you to attend. The class is 8 hours, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Lunch is provided. Participants earn a 3-year national certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. You will learn how to recognize someone who might be struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts or psychosis; how to talk with them; and how to connect them with appropriate care. A team of educators from the White Hall School District recently attended the ARKTESOL Conference, collaborating with fellow Arkansas educators to explore strategies for supporting English Language Learners in our schools.

On Thursday, November 7th, Hardin Elementary students presented an outstanding program in honor of our Veterans. Fourth and fifth graders came together to perform seven songs, with third graders joining them for a final number. What a great tribute to the sacrifices made by our local Veterans. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
