Fifth graders at Taylor Elementary played a lively game of “Eat or Be Eaten” to explore how matter moves through an ecosystem. Students learned what different consumers eat and used that knowledge to build their own food chains. A fun, hands-on way to bring science to life in Mrs. Rongey’s class!

We are especially thankFULL for our incredible cafeteria staff! This week, they prepared and served more than 3,400 Thanksgiving meals to students, staff, and families. Their hard work and constant smiles made sure every Bulldog was fed and cared for. We couldn’t be more grateful for this amazing team. Happy Thanksgiving from our thankFULL hearts to yours!

Mrs. Sorey’s students at Moody jumped into a fun and engaging Curipod lesson today as they practiced the comprehension skills they’ve been learning in Benchmark. Students used a variety of strategies: drawing, visual supports, and instant feedback to check their understanding, revise their thinking, and build confidence. It was a great opportunity for students to strengthen key reading skills while also deepening their knowledge and thinking.

White Hall Elementary art teachers Susie Maynard and Ashley Thompson recently presented at the Arkansas Art Educators Fall Professional Development Conference in North Little Rock.Mrs. Maynard led a hands-on session on pillow-making for K–5 students, including adorable tooth fairy pillows for Kindergarten and 1st grade. Mrs. Thompson shared tips and tricks for classroom management and organization, helping other art teachers make their rooms run smoothly and efficiently. We’re proud to see our Bulldog educators leading the way and inspiring creativity across Arkansas!
