On Tuesday, February 1st, Governor Hutchinson announced that contact tracing and quarantine directives for schools are now guidelines. School districts may determine how to proceed with students and staff considered probable close contact without symptoms. The White Hall School District will continue contact tracing. We ask that parents complete the covid reporting form or call your school campus if your child test positive for COVID-19. Students who test positive for COVID should continue to follow the isolation guidelines. The district will notify parents if their child was in close contact with a positive case of COVID-19. Students who have been in close contact will not be required to quarantine unless they develop symptoms.

Due to icy road conditions, the White Hall School District will be closed on Friday, February 4th. This will be an AMI Day. Teachers will provide work through Google Classroom and will be available for assistance during the school day. Please stay safe.

The White Hall School District will be closed today in observance of Martin Luther King Day. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 18th.
The White Hall School District Spelling Bee is planned for Tuesday, January 18th at 1:30 pm. It will take place in the West Building at White Hall Middle. This is for grade level winners in 4th-8th grade. The top 4 students on January 18th will advance to the county spelling bee on January 20th.

Due to the increase in COVID-19 positive cases and students quarantined in our district, masks will be required for the next seven days. At that time, we will reevaluate our numbers. If the numbers decrease, we will remove the mask mandate. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work to protect the health of our students and staff.
The White Hall Band Concerts will be at the White Hall Community Center tonight. The White Hall Middle School Band Christmas Concert is at 6:00pm tonight. The WHHS Concert will begin at 7:00pm. The Jazz Band will perform first, followed by the Varsity Band.

The White Hall School District is fully cooperating with the White Hall Police Department, the Arkansas State Police and the FBI. The two students will not currently return to their campus. The White Hall School District will do everything necessary to ensure the safety of our students and staff. As this is a student privacy matter, all questions should be directed to the White Hall Police Department, the Arkansas State Police or the FBI.

Parents, we need your help. The app Yik Yak is being used by students in our district. This app allows users to anonymously share post with anyone in a 5 mile radius. It is being used in cruel and hurtful ways to bully their peers. This app is harmful to the mental health of our community. We ask that you please talk to your students about removing the app from their devices. The cell phone policy will be strictly enforced, and students will be written up for not following the policy.
