Summer is a time for fun and relaxation, but we want to help keep students’ reading skills strong. One great way to prevent summer reading loss is to encourage children to read a little each day. Our local public library, along with the Jefferson County Main Library in Pine Bluff, has several fun summer activities planned. Families can sign up for the Beanstack Summer Reading Program through their local public library. Please see the attached pictures for all the details. Jefferson County Main Library’s Summer Reading Party will be held on June 6 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at MLK Park in Pine Bluff. Everyone is welcome! A QR code is included to register for Summer Reading through Beanstack. Registration is branch-specific for reading prizes, but the code will allow you to select your home branch when you sign up.
