Week one of state testing = SUCCESS!
Our 1st and 2nd graders absolutely rocked it—way to go! Kindergarten also kicked things off strong, finishing their first day and getting ready to wrap it up next Friday.
Students in first and second, who showed up each day and demonstrated great behavior, earned the chance to win prizes—and we’ve got some happy winners to prove it! Kindergarten will have the same chance once their testing is over.

Today we officially kicked off Test Like a Champion, and the excitement was everywhere.
Students and staff enjoyed a fun-filled day that included the Ms. ATLAS staff contest, Family Feud with 5th grade, and an awesome testing rap from Mr. Glover.
Our Ms. ATLAS contestants were Ms. Goal Getter, Ms. Ace Tennison, Ms. Baby Ruth, Ms. Birdie Tee, Ms. Slammy Dunk, and Ms. Brandy Blitz. A big congratulations to Ms. Birdie Tee for taking the title of Ms. ATLAS!
Fourth grade took a vow to Test Like a Champion, and Mrs. Ferris’ second grade is ready to knock the test out of the park. Our students are prepared, encouraged, and ready to shine.
Second grade will get us started on Monday and Tuesday, followed by first grade on Wednesday and Thursday. Kindergarten will wrap up the week on Friday.

Registering your child for Book Blast is a quick and easy way to help both your child and their classroom. Your child can earn prizes, and the teacher can earn money to spend on classroom items.
At 40% participation, the teacher earns $100
At 60% participation, the teacher earns $200
To count toward these goals, families must register and send invitations to 10 or more people. Some classes are only one or two students away from earning these rewards. Please take 5 minutes to do your part and help support your child’s classroom. Every registration makes a difference!

Our students in grades 1st–5th who showed growth on their ATLAS testing earned a well-deserved field trip—and what an AMAZING time it was! Fourth and fifth grade traveled to Hot Springs to explore the Mid-America Science Museum! From hands-on exhibits to engaging learning sessions, they had a blast discovering new and exciting things. Our younger students, in grades first-third, enjoyed a beautiful morning at Two Rivers Park filled with playtime and lunch with friends. Then, they headed to the Movie Tavern for a special showing of The GOAT! We are so proud of our students for their hard work and growth—these day were all about celebrating them!

One School, One Book is going great. Students are showing their love for Charlotte's Web. Mrs. Ferris' 2nd grade class shows off their farmer attire and their talented drawing skills. Aurora and Noah built the farm, in Charlotte's Web, with magnatiles, We love seeing our students excited about reading and using their creativity to connect with this classic story.
