Not many people can say they have worked for the same place and have done the same job for 44 years. Our very own Mr. Jim Welch can. His time at Hardin began in 1981 where he became the custodian. His time will come to an end this year at the end of June. We are happy for him on his retirement but he will be dearly missed. Congratulations Mr. Jim! The photos contain the current staff at Hardin and ones that have worked with Jim over the years. The last picture is him with staff now that once were students while he worked here.






Last Day of School


Awards programs were today and two very special awards were handed out: The Dan Mincy and Jasper Hamaker awards. The nominees and winners are selected by their classmates and the staff. Congratulations to Brycen Worsham for winning the Jasper Hamaker award and Bebe Baugh for winning the Dan Mincy award.

Water fight went great today! 50 students cashed in their Dojo points to participate in a school-wide water fight. They were soaked after going through 1,000 water balloons and gallons of water shooting the water blasters!

We started a Courtyard Crew! These students gave up their 2nd recess to help cleanup the courtyard today.





At the end of the testing assembly, students pledged to do their best on the test. Then each student signed a poster for their classroom to remind them of this pledge.We are ATLAS test ready!
