Students in Mrs. Pullman's Accelerated Algebra 2 class are working together to graph and solve systems of inequalities. In pairs, they share ideas, look at where the graphs overlap, and talk about what the answers mean in real life. This activity helps them think critically, explain their work, and practice teamwork while learning more about systems of inequalities.
In other words, their MATH is MATHING!

Mr. Hartley's Accelerated Biology students have been busy scientists. They worked in groups to analyze data and figure out what drives the wildebeest migration in the Serengeti. They also created models of U.S. conservation areas to study why protecting these places matters and how conservation helps ecosystems recover and thrive. Hands-on learning at its best!

Who needs a clock when you have the sun? Check out these 5th graders in Ms. Stuart’s class at Hardin Elementary! They built shadow clocks to tell time using the sun, then took it a step further with flashlights to explore how the sun rises and sets during August. They can even adjust their clocks for each month!

On Thursday, August 7, educators from across the district came together for a day of learning, collaboration, and inspiration at our One District, Many Voices Conference. With five breakout sessions, expert presenters, and the chance to learn from one another, participants walked away with practical strategies they can use in their classrooms right away.
As one attendee shared: “The five sessions I attended were phenomenal — practical strategies I can take back to my classroom tomorrow.” Thank you to everyone who presented, attended, and helped make the day a success!

NEW ARKANSAS LAW: “Bell to Bell, No Cell”
Starting with the 2025–2026 school year, all Arkansas public schools—including White Hall School District—will enforce the “Bell to Bell, No Cell” Act (SB 142 / Act 122).

🔒 What’s Changing?
*Personal cell phones, smartwatches, tablets, laptop, and any device that sends/receives data must stay powered off and stored all day.
* Yondr pouches will be used to securely lock devices from the first bell to the final bell.

📘 Why?
This state law supports focused, distraction-free learning. Schools not enforcing it may face penalties.

* Talk with your child about expectations.
* Support a smooth transition to device-free learning.

📌Full details will be in the updated Student Handbook and on our website.
