Taylor Elementary School's 5th Grade students presented Living History to families and classmates. Students, dressed as historical figures, shared the significance of individuals throughout history. Great job, 5th grade!!

Thirteen Gandy Elementary students recently displayed artwork at the Spencer Gallery at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. The awards ceremony and reception was held yesterday, Sunday, April 16.
Kindergarten: 1st place - Nora Greenlee, 2nd place – Weston Braswell, and 3rd place – Saylor Bradshaw
1st Grade: 1st place – Cambrie Watkins and 3rd place – Isabella Estrada
2nd Grade: 3rd place – Emily Saylor and 4th place – Olivia Greenlee
3rd Grade: 1st place Adalynn Swopes and 4th place Serenity Robertson
5th Grade 1st place – Lillian Hallman
Our four 1st place winners - Nora Greenlee, Cambrie Watkins, Adalynn Swopes and Lillian Hallman will have their work on display June 17 – September 2 at the Hillary Rodham Clinton Children’s Library and Learning Center, 4800 West 10th Street, Little Rock, AR 72204



Choir Happening 2023--Movie Night will April 22nd at 7:00PM. Tickets can be purchased for $20 at the following times: 4/18 from 5:30-6:30 in the Choir Room; 4/20 & 4/21 from 6-9 in the Auditorium; and 4/22 from 6-7 in the Upper Lobby Ticket Booth of the Performing Art Center.


The 10th Annual White Hall Sports Hall of Fame will be May 8th at 6:30 PM. The event, held at the James "Jitters" Morgan Community Center, will be catered by Woodshed. Tickets are available at the White Hall High School office.


The White Hall School District is hiring Reading Interventionists for the 2023-2024 school year. Interventionists should be licensed teachers with a passion for helping students reach their full potential. Interventionists will work with students in kindergarten, first, and sixth grades. Reading interventionist positions are contracted only for the 2023-2024 school year. JROTC completed their Senior Walk today. The cadets marched from White Hall High School to the James Jitters Morgan Community Center where students attended the JROTC Awards Assembly and announcement of the 2023-2024 JROTC officers.






The White Hall School District hosted the Area 9 Special Olympics on Saturday, April 8th. Thank you to Mark Cantwell and Jason Mitchell for setting up the events. We had student volunteers from Beta Club, NHS, and SIS that did an amazing job. We are so appreciative of the teachers, staff, and community members that supported our students. Thank you for making the Special Olympics an outstanding event!

The seven students attended the FBLA State Leadership Conference. From WHMS: Braden Drye, Lincoln Hood, and Bella Moltz, and from WHHS: Sarah Gwinn, Abby Hobson, Machaela Larry, and Jacob Pham.



Three WHHS students placed in the 2023 Southeast Arkansas Regional Art Showcase. Sophie Prince placed 3rd in the 9th-grade division, Aaliyah Lybrand paced 4th in the 11th-grade division, and Ally Edwards placed 3rd in the 12th-grade division. Congratulations to our talented artists!
