January is School Board Member Recognition Month in Arkansas

The Arkansas School Boards Association (ASBA) announced that January is School Board Member Recognition Month in Arkansas.  School board members play an essential role in our community. The White Hall School District joins other districts in Arkansas in celebration of our board by thanking them for the time, talents, and knowledge they bring to our district and for their commitment to the families and children of our community.

At the January School Board meeting, Mr. Williams, superintendent of White Hall Schools, presented each board member with a certificate of appreciation for their dedication and service to the district.  Ashley Thompson, WHSD Art teacher, presented the board with art created by students for each elementary school.  The art piece is entitled, Hands In, Bulldogs! and will be on display in the boardroom.  The Moody Sunshine also provided treats for each board member.

We would like to thank Chartwells for sponsoring a delicious Board Appreciation Dinner.

The members serving our district are as follows:

Dr. Raymond Jones, President
Scott Ray, Vice-President
Scott Lockhart, Secretary
Roy Agee
RD Johnson
Scott Pittillo
James Welden
