On November 9th, the White Hall School Board approved a motion to lift the mask mandate beginning December 6th with the following requirement. If the number of positive student and quarantine cases reaches 30 or more, the mask mandate will be reinstated for seven (7) calendar days. The mask mandate will be lifted after seven (7) calendar days if cases fall below 30.
On January 5th, the number of positive student and quarantine cases exceeded 30. The number did not fall below 30 until Sunday, February 6th. According to this policy, if the numbers remain below 30, masks will be optional beginning Monday, February 14th.
