On Wednesday, October 21st the White Hall High School will dismiss at 2:00, due to Entergy working onsite at the High School to relocate a power line. All other White Hall schools will remain open and will be on a regular school day schedule. Buses will also run on a regular schedule.
It is with great sadness that we share Shauna Schod, a second-grade teacher at Moody Elementary, passed away unexpectedly this morning. Our condolences go out to the Schod family. Today, the White Hall School District Counselor Crisis Team will be available to provide counseling to students and staff. As we wrap up the second week of school, the White Hall School District would like to say THANK YOU to our amazing students, faculty, and staff. This year brought challenges that we never could have imagined, but you have worked together to make the best of this year. Your willingness to adapt to our new way of education has been incredible. It has been brought to our attention that a parent has received a letter stating that the White Hall School District will require students to have a COVID-19 test. The letter request personal information including the student's social security number. This letter is NOT from the White Hall School District. It is a scam. If you receive this letter, please do not respond. The district will never request private information in this manner.
Edmentum will be the digital platform used by K-8th grade students that choose Virtual Learning. A link will be provided next for parents and students to view the program.
The football field at Bulldog Stadium will receive a new artificial turf. The project was included in the 2019 White Hall School District Maintenance Budget. It will not be funded through the 2020 millage. Although the project was scheduled for the summer of 2020, the start date of this project has been moved forward to ensure its completion before the 2020 White Hall High School Graduation Ceremony. The graduation ceremony is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, July 18th.
