I graduated from Arkansas State University in 2005, with a Bachelors of Science in Finance with an emphasis on Corporate Finance.  Upon graduation, I joined Follett Higher Education Group as a bookstore manager and through this position, I was able to see our beautiful nation from sea to sea.  I served in bookstores in Massachusetts, New York, Iowa, California, Florida, and Washington D.C.  I left Follett in the fall of 2008 and moved back to Arkansas from Florida in 2009.

In 2010, I began to substitute teach at Blytheville School District, Armorel School District, and Gosnell School District.  During this time I entered Arkansas Northeastern College to prepare to enter the APPEL Program through the Arkansas Department of Education.  I entered the APPEL Program in 2013 and began the journey to becoming a teacher.
