Mrs. Gates’s AP Biology students conducted photosynthesis labs this week. During the lab, students examined the process of photosynthesis in leaves. As carbon dioxide is produced, the density of the leaves change, and they will begin to float in a solution. The students determined the rate of photosynthesis by calculating the time it takes for the leaves to float.
